Visiting Our Team for the First Time?

At Freemon Dental Associates, we believe that lasting dental health starts with getting to know our patients one-on-one. During your first visit, we not only strive to make you feel comfortable but also ensure you are well-informed about every phase of your treatment.

What to Expect During Your Initial Visit

Your initial appointment with our Woodstock dentist includes a consultation to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. In some cases, surgery may be performed on the same day as your consultation. However, if you have a complex medical history or treatment plan, a follow-up evaluation and a second appointment for treatment may be necessary.

Information to Bring to Your Consultation

To help us serve you better, please provide the following information at your consultation:

• Your surgical referral slip and any relevant X-rays
• A list of medications you are currently taking
• Completed forms for medical or dental insurance, if applicable

Important Notes

• Patients Under 18: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
• IV Anesthesia: If your treatment involves IV anesthesia, a pre-operative consultation and physical examination are mandatory. Do not eat or drink anything for 8 hours before your surgery, and arrange for an adult to drive you home.
• Medical Conditions: Please inform our office if you have any medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever) or are taking any medications (e.g., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy) that may be relevant to your treatment.

X-Rays

If your dentist or physician has taken X-rays, please request that they forward them to our office. If this is not possible, pick them up and bring them to your appointment. Additional films can be taken at our facility if necessary.
